  • 1 cup Warm milk
  • 2 Eggs
  • cups Melted butter
  • 1 teaspoon Vanilla extract
  • cups All-purpose flour plus extra for kneading
  • ½ cups Granulated sugar
  • teaspoons Active dry yeast
  • 1 teaspoon Salt

  • ½ cups Melted butter
  • ¾ cups Brown sugar
  • 3 Tbsp Cinnamon

  • 4 ounces Cream cheese - softened
  • ¼ cups Unsalted butter - softened
  • cups Powdered sugar
  • 1 teaspoon Vanilla extract

  • In a stand mixer, combine the warm milk, eggs, melted butter, and vanilla extract. Mix until well combined. Add the flour, sugar, yeast, and saltto the wet mixture.
  • Use a dough hook attachment to knead for about 5-7 minutes until you have a smooth and elastic dough. If you do not have a stand mixer, you should knead the dough for 10 minutes or until the dough is supple and soft.
  • Place the dough in a greased bowl and cover it with plastic wrap or a damp towel. Let it rise for about an hour in a warm place until it doubles insize - around 1 to 1.5 hours.
  • To make the filling, mix the melted butter, brown sugar, and cinnamon in a small bowl.
  • Remove the dough from the greased bowl and use a rolling pin to roll out the dough on a floured surface into a rectangle about 1/4 inch thick. The dough must be of a uniform thickness. Otherwise, your cinnamon rolls will not cookevenly. Spread the filling mixture onto the dough, leaving about a 1/2-inch border around the edges.
  • Roll up the dough tightly into a log shape and cut it into 12 equally sized rolls. Place them in a greased 9x13-inch baking pan. Alternatively, you can also use a 9x13 casserole dish. If you use a casserole dish, line it with parchment paper so you can easily remove the cinnamon rolls.
  • Cover with plastic wrap or a damp towel and let them rise for another hour until doubled in size -about 30-45 minutes.
  • Preheat the oven to 375 degrees Fahrenheit while the cinnamon rolls rise. Once the cinnamon rolls are done rising, bake them for about 20-25 minutes until golden brown.
  • Mix the softened cream cheese, butter, powdered sugar, and vanilla extract in a stand mixer bowl. Beat this mixture until smooth, fluffy, and forming stiff peaks. If you don't have a stand mixer, you can do this step by hand with a whisk.
  • Allow the cinnamon rolls to cool for 5-10 minutes before frosting them. Spread the frosting evenly across the cinnamon rolls and serve.
  • Enjoy!
