Ingredients

  • 1 cup Mayonnaise
  • ½ cups Horseradish
  • ¼ Tbsp Minced garlic
  • ½ Lemon (squeeze and take the juice)
  • Sea salt
  • Cracked black pepper

Instructions

  • First, measure out one cup of mayonnaise.
I like to use real mayonnaise, like Hellman’s brand. This thick, creamy mayonnaise is perfect for tiger sauce. If you are not a fan of real mayonnaise, Miracle Whip also works!
  • Add your cup of mayonnaise to a medium size bowl.
  • Next, measure out ½ cup of horseradish. I grow horseradish in my garden, so I used fresh ground horseradish.
  • I like a little extra kick to my tiger sauce, so I add ¾ cup of horseradish.
  • Add the desired amount of horseradish to your mayonnaise.
  • Add ¼ tablespoon of garlic. You can do freshly minced garlic or canned garlic. Just like with horseradish, you can add more garlic for an extra kick.
  • Squeeze the juice of ½ lemon into your bowl.
  • Sprinkle sea salt and cracked black pepper to taste. Mix all of your ingredients until well combined.
  • Enjoy homemade tiger sauce on your favorite meat, poultry, and seafood! This tiger sauce will keep for 4-7 days in the refrigerator. A variation to this sauce you can make is tiger dill sauce. Add dill to the mix for this tasty treat!
